CHRISTOPHER MURRIE has been editing award-winning animation since 1999, beginning at Vinton Studios, the predecessor to LAIKA. Most recently, he edited Coraline. His work earned a 2009 A.C.E. Eddie nomination for Best Edited Animated Feature Film. Following the nomination, he was invited to join the A.C.E.
Before entering the world of feature films, Christopher edited several short films including Moongirl, Kirk Kelly’s Dia De Los Muertes, Mark Gustafson and Mike Smith’s Ananda, and Mike Wellins’s Dead Enders. He has also collaborated on many high-profile commercial campaigns.
Christopher holds a degree in art and studies in music composition from Illinois’ Knox College. He then trained in Chicago in film editing and post-production.
